Not a word I liked, today! LOL!
FS has loved VWs since we were stationed in Germany when he was six. For a while there, he was buying, restoring and selling one about every 18 months. This last one he’s had for about four years. He’s working on a convertible, now, but the weather here has been so weird this year.
The heat from the VW engine is what warms up the car. Go like 60 and you’ll be warm in no time!
I think school starts here on Monday, but I’m not associated with anyone who has school-age kids, and have no working vehicle so I dunno...
My bookcases are full of books I didn’t read when I was in school!
Their school is private and the parents decided to give up spring break in exchange for school not starting until after Labor Day and ending the Friday before Memorial Day.
The starting before Labor Day make no sense as they go to school four days, have a four day week end and then have another four day week.
Tuesday we are going to be making rounds of the thrift stores looking for books for the store, clothes for everybody and glasses for my mother.
I love half price days.
Good morning. All fine here in The Villages. Kathleen and I will go to church in about an hour. It’s nearby.
