So it appears that information on the Internet is good enough to convince people that an education at Wharton is worth considerable expense, but no one seems to wonder how much of an education one could receive from information on the Internet.
As we have been informed, you do not go just for the education, you go for the connections.
Since they are 11 and 14 as the parents we nod and tell them they will need top grades, a record of community service and they will have to cover a lot of the expenses themselves because we are simple working class people.
The stand has mostly kept them out of mischief all summer.
And they have made enough money that they will both have to file income tax returns.
I figure that little life lesson is going to be very valuable.
