Long story about the interruptions last night.
Even though I signed up for and got the link for church services through Facebook, I couldn’t always get them on the laptop. I finally relented and installed Facebook on my phone because for whatever reason, it was more reliable for the church services on the phone.
So every time there is a message alert on Facebook, I get it on the phone. That’s what last night was, after FD sent photos of her new peach and apple trees.
FD doesn’t think about the time difference and on Facebook, unless it’s my family scattered around the country no one else does, either. But then, I’ve got acquaintances on Facebook from Ireland, Scotland Poland and Britain, so...
You can probably turn off the sound for Facebook notifications on your phone. Vlad knows how to fix all the sounds! Or you could even shut off the notification function in Facebook.
I silence my phone at night because of things like that. I’ve been in too many weird time zones and had texts wake me in the middle of the night. Depending on what kind of phone you have, you can also put on “do not disturb” at night.
I hope you have a nice nap!
I put my phone into do-not-disturb mode between 10pm and 7am. Messages or calls from people in the favorites group get through. Nothing else does.
