It seems like it does nothing but rain there. I went to bed with Jake for a while, but the kids were loud, so I came back. Turkeys.
I’m working on a casserole now, using heaps of sausage I found in the outside freezer. The other person likes to go to Costco and just buy whatever, unnngh.
Yes, it rains 53”+ a year here, so even if its not raining, it’s usually overcast and always humid. That’s not good for this desert girl’s bones, and that’s a fact!
I just got called over to the office to produce bank statements. Unngh. Since I changed pharmacies, I have to provide new prescription cost information. Unngh. Tiny houses look better and better. Just someplace to call my own.
Oh, my gosh! I found some tasty sausage but unfortunately, it’s at Sheryl’s Diner. It’s been so long since I set foot in Walmart, I have no idea what they have any more. Just what I can order online.
A church I attended in Texas had a guy give a talk on how he lived with such a small monthly budget. He wasn’t a poor guy, but he liked to keep things cheap.
One of his tricks was to only buy things that were on sale or that he had a coupon for. Then they made whatever they could figure out how to make from whatever they had in the fridge. He said they had some awfully strange sandwiches at the end of a shopping week.
He also said there were some days when, after the register finished counting coupons, he could pay for the food for his large family with a $10. His goal was that they would owe him money.
So, for what it’s worth, it’s apparently a lifestyle.
