A good Sunday morning to all!
So the forecast for the triple digits finally came to pass... truth be told, can’t tell much difference between 97, 99, 100, or 102 degrees out there...
More concerned about this persistent high pressure dome preventing us from getting any needed, soaking rains...
Keeping my seat on the four row train today:

Good morning. There were lots of black clouds in our area yesterday, but no rain fell on us.
Jake killed a finch. We took it away from him before he made a mess with it.
A blessed Lordβs Day to all!
Doing the four dance againβ¦

“So the forecast for the triple digits finally came to pass...”
Well, you’re welcome to it; it’s been through here.
Three days in the mid-upper 90’s, touching the low 100’s and last afternoon the Big Pacific Swamp Cooler kicked on. We had persistent breeze off the ocean all night long and continuing today pushing MUCH cooler, moist marine air up to 100 miles inland. We’ll top out in the mid 70’s, today, and maybe carry some entrained moisture into the Sierra to spawn a few afternoon rainstorms in coming days.
