In other news...
Clear and balmy, this morning; 72Fs on the heat stick as we make our way to a forecast high of 86.
AMAZINGLY, SF demonstrated itself to be less balmy than previously thought, kicking it’s truly balmy woke-ist DA to the curb in a compelling 60/40 vote.
As long as you’re all here things are right with the world.

I think the word is actually “barmy”. According to my Mom, it’s the first place I ever drove her. Years before I had a license.
Probably right.
It was spoken, and the Brit pronunciation of the “ar” as more of an “ah” left the consonant in question.
Driving less is saving the planet.
Until they discover that walking around an belching and ... producing methane is just as bad.
Then they’ll kill us all and the planet will be safe.
For my mom that was just a short putt.
But then, she had 4 of us.
“But then, she had 4 of us.”
Yeah, see, it was just my brother and I at our house; Mom and Dad never let themselves be outnumbered.
And breathing.
Sometimes, breathing can produce some powerful methane...
Another round of Sound and Light Show. *sigh* I went out to get the mail (my stamps came!) and thought I would choke to death, the air is so moist. And warm. I’m inside with A/C and a long-sleeved thermal shirt.
I’m so happy here I could just spit! Not.
I meant to ask you, are you the one spreading the Monkey Pox? < /S >
Don’t spit, it’s messy!
The item at Hobby Lobby was only $2.60. That was nice. I forgot to tell Tom we’ll need rice with the chicken.
If I am I don’t know it. And don’t care. ;o]
I know. It was just the next worst choice of words to use.
Right after (say five minutes?) my last post, there was no rain and no thunder and then BOOM! Scare the Mom right out of her shoes, set her heart to pounding and hands to shaking (along with the house) and I have no idea how close it was. Just that it was far TOO close for me!
Can I just go home, now? Arkansas isn’t nearly as much fun as I remembered.
It turns out bugs had gotten into the rice. They’re making noodles instead. Whatever.
I can’t wait to see how the chicken turned out!
I just hate when I find out something has gotten into food that I’ve stored. I hate it so much I either empty it into a plastic container when I get home or into a freezer bag.
Stuff is too expensive to be tossed.
Yes, I’m curious about the chicken, too! Please let me know if it’s tasty! ;o] Noodles are good with chicken, too!
The chicken was very good.
Sally came over because she’s going to the eye doctor nearby this morning. In exchange for gas money, she cleared out the refrigerator so it could be turned unplugged for a couple of days to de-ice the innards. Things are in the camping coolers and Tom’s little refrigerator upstairs.
