After the feet, the rest grows.
Frank and Kathleen have Wilderness Survival class again tomorrow. I hope I can get him to wear his old shoes.
That will be a trick, if you can do it. They often don't associate that using the new stuff when the old is better for the job at hand will make the new stuff look as old as the old stuff.
Or something.
I’m hoping FS feels better tomorrow, because he’s sure not feeling very good right now. He’s trying to keep me from being concerned, but that doesn’t work with the Mom. He may or may not be able to go to church Sunday. He hasn’t told me what they’ve given him for pain, but I probably won’t be informed of that for a few days.
Dentistry is difficult. He’s probably in shock, too, poor fellow.
Yes, I am sure that the price for the DVD will come down over time. Worth keeping an eye out for it...
w00t!
No doubt, as it's been over thirty years since he's been to the dentist.
He texted later and said they had told him to take either Tylenol or Ibuprofen as he said dentists were getting away from dispensing narcotics. One less thing to worry about.
He'll check in later today, I'm sure.
I’m good at finding things at a discount! Life is like that when you’re on a fixed income.
Thanks!
;o]
Not going to the dentist does lead to pain.
Good morning. How are you today?
Getting ready to pounce!
Good morning. I trust the rest of your day went well yesterday, and that your sleep was uninterrupted by cats.
How is Jake this morning? Is the Unacceptable Receptacle in his near future?
I have cards to get out today, along with the letter to Charlie, but for now, I’m playing the Waiting on the Water game.
I hope Frank and Kathleen do well today!
Jake is napping on the sleeping bag, while Shannon keeps going outside to see if it’s still foggy, which it is.
Tom will take Jake to the vet this afternoon. I left my credit card on his desk.
He evidently had a broken tooth that began to give him some pain several weeks ago, and he ignored it (as most of us do) and it began to interfere with his work. He was hoping it would go away until they got back from their trip, but it just got worse.
I’m glad he got it taken care of. I just hope he’ll be able to go to church Sunday. I mean, Mother’s Day is all about the mom-factor! ;o]
Thanks for asking, but I probably won’t know how I am until after my shower. If the water ever gets hot! It usually takes me about an hour to be able to function, and I guess it’s a good thing, because of the water heater! LOL!
“He was hoping it would go away ...”
Males.
I hope whatever is wrong with Jake can be taken care of without too much difficulty.
I told FS I sold the flight cage, but he said he didn’t even know I had one! I also told him I may consider a small critter, like a sugar glider or dwarf rabbit. Something that doesn’t mind cuddling. His response was, “I know, Mom.”
But that’s a while in the future. Right now, I have to concentrate on getting rid of enough stuff to unclutter this place.
Exactly. And he’s Tom-Sized, so that makes it worse.
A little rabbit might be possible.
Jake probably just needs an antibiotic shot, again. He’s really getting too old for this stuff!
After yesterday’s dismal showing, there’s this!
I’m back in the running! For another day, anyway. ;o]

Ah, Jake. Jake, you’re an old man-cat, so you need to start playing the part and forget about the macho thing.
Yep, a little rabbit what I’m thinking. When I feel the time is right, I check with FS who has a friend who owns a pet store.
IIRC they’re social animals, so in fairness to the bunnykin, I would have to get two. Kinda like cats, so they have someone to play with.
(Whoever thought I’d be entertaining the idea of having a pet rodent?)
Now it’s shower time.
