Mark Levin began hosting a Sunday WABC show from 12 PM-2 PM in May of 2002. I don't know the exact date. I heard his first show, because I read on a message board that he was going to have his own show. I knew who he was from his appearances on Hannity & Colmes and Hannity's radio show. I don't listen to him as much anymore, but he is one of the better syndicated radio hosts. He has done a lot of good with the Supreme Court, supporting Tea Party candidates, exposing RINOs including Mitch McConnell and former House Speaker John Boehner, and attacking the left.
Sounds like Michael Savage in this respect. Peas in a pod.
Trump opened the eyes of many conservatives to the lies and damage done to the country by our reckless spending and involvement in too many of the world’s problems, especially in the Middle East. Levin knows that many conservative voters no longer support his internationalist worldview and he resents Trump for making many GOP voters think more as nationalists today.
20 years and yet he’s only found 8 useless wars that he insists we get entangled in. He needs to step it up.
And what has changed because of him?
I stopped listening to him when he would want libs to call in, but instead of debating them, he called them names and hung up.
I used to listen, but Mark has drifted farther away from his roots in my opinion...
Used to donate money to his legal foundation too occasionally...
“Levin is forever claiming others don’t give him credit and would have nothing to say, had they not “stolen” news items and commentary from him.”
That’s one of the main reasons I don’t listen as much.
Levin got tons of material from we freepers and NEVER gave us credit for it.
These days Trump compliments Levin.
Thinks he’s a big shot but he was just a minor functionary in a long ago administration.
I interpret his positions and content as controlled opposition. Same as I interpret Hannity’s.
They discuss little of real consequence in my opinion.
He is such an angry little man. It make listening to him difficult. I just couldn’t take it anymore, even when his was the only talk radio I could get on my afternoon commute. Silence was so much better.
Im sure most of the haters never listen or read his books. He is far from a neocon.
And he was a Cruz supporter like most of FR before Trump got in and was weary of him as was I and a lot others around here. Clearly supported him big time when it was clear he’d win the nomination and Cruz petered out. Just like millions.
Big Trump supporter.
So much revisionist history.
20 years on air? I hope he’s only been an asshole for that long. Too bad for those around him if he’s been one in private longer.
Why don’t you like him?
abrasive, arrogant without cause, unconcerned with externalities, and all too often wrong.
