House approves nearly $40 billion in aid for Ukraine.
The vote was 368-57.
All nay votes came from Republicans.
The bill now goes to the Senate. But the Senate may not vote on the plan until next week.
This afternoon on the Senate, the Democrats’ bloodlust for abortion will be on display, as the procedural vote to discuss the radical bill passed by the House takes place.
No formula for babies in America, but by all means, let’s vote to kill them up to the moment of birth in case Roe is overturned.
Crazy. That’s like giving $$$ to your neighbor who has money while denying much needed things to your own family.
Politicians know most voters don’t keep up with what bills were passed and how they voted for them. I know many of them believe in Ukraine, but we have already given them a lot of money and a lot of military equipment. People need to know how much 40 billion on top of everything else is, compared to what they are spending on things that we really need here. We have housing shortage, inflation, shortages of necessities, to name a few. It’s time for Europe to pony up, and for Zelenksy to get away from cameras and realize we are not his wealthy parents. He’s already telling, not asking, that he needs 7 billion a month to pay bills and 600 billion to rebuild.
You’d think this war was our idea, 🤔.
