Morning, Jane!
I’ll take your humidity.
Woke up at 2:30, listened to the blustery winds wiping the pine trees, now watching the trees swaying, gusts up to 50 mph.
Is this wind ever going to go away?
Still under a Red Flag warning, so scary.
Morning, Gran.
I wish I could send some of this humidity your way.
Those are some strong winds. Sure hope they pass through, quickly, and bring some moisture your way.
Morning Gran, I was awakened by the wind also, 45 to 50 mph.
Have live here since 1984 and never had so many windy days.
Those winds haven’t stopped in New Mexico, how terrifying for those people with that fire still raging.
Still windy here, LG, but not as much.
We had gusts as high as 72 mph on Saturday here, and constant high winds.
Down to the 20-30 mph range with less frequency.
Should be finished by tomorrow night.
Usually there is wind for a short time, not for days on end.
We need the fields to dry out so corn planting can begin.
The Midwest needs dry land so they can plant their summer wheat.
That is the important crop for all of us.
A bad crop this year means problems next year for food.
