Friends had major flight complications last evening due to cancellations. They managed to get another flight but saw many people in the airport heading to a hotel for the night. Are flight cancellations increasing? If yes, I wonder why.

Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, revealed on Friday that an anonymous donor would be covering the funeral expenses of the 19 children and two teachers killed during the heinous school shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.
“Among other things, I know there have already been some offerings to ensure that cost of funerals will be taken care of,” he said during a press conference held to discuss the aftermath of the massacre. “During the course of the meeting, there was an anonymous donor who attended the meeting and provided $175,000 to ensure that every cost of every family, concerning anything, about the funeral services is gonna be taken care of.”
The heinous school shooting that took place this week in Uvalde has continued to grieve Americans across the country as more details have begun to emerge. On Tuesday, a deranged gunman opened fire on a classroom of elementary school children. The shooter has been identified as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos. A Border Patrol Tactical Unit member killed Ramos at the scene.
“We appreciate that anonymous donor for his generosity,” Abbott continued. “And we will ensure that those resources get into the right hands, to make sure that no family, who is suffering from incalculable heartbreak at this time, will have to worry about a single cost with regard to anything concerning this travesty.”
