Although many Marvel fans were ecstatic when the trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder finally arrived, others were less than thrilled. In fact, it seems that quite a few Twitter users have been calling out actor Chris Pratt for being homophobic after the trailer launched. It seems that one joke in the trailer has been the reason for the name-calling.
As those who’ve seen the footage know, there’s a moment where Chris Pratt’s character Star-Lord is speaking with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. He gives the following word of advice:
“You ever feel lost? Just look into the eyes of the people that you love.”
While Thor takes this advice and looks directly into Star-Lord’s eyes, Star-Lord has the opposite reaction.
“Not me,” Star-Lord says.
Thor replies with the following:
“What? Just listening.”
Now Twitters users are blaming Chris Pratt for the line, insisting that the actor is homophobic as a result of his delivery. One tweet in particular has gotten well-over 100,000 likes as of this writing. In fact, many of these tweets have gained tens of thousands of likes, suggesting that many of these Twitter users feel the same way. As you can see below:

He’s a fairly prominent Christian...which of course drives the left insane.
Those objecting are truthaphobes. The joke was funny because there is truth to men being uncomfortable in the same way. Not even allowing for a bit of humor about this reality is pretty ridiculous.
I usually stream movies for free... and for the most part they are still not worth the price I paid.
After years of craziness from the Left, I have come to believe it will never stop.

The “WOKE” live in a world where every individual gets to determine right and wrong and everything they agree with is right and anything they disagree with is wrong.
It is impossible to placate the WOKE since there are no real standards and if you try to please one you will offend another.

Yes and in the context of the narrative, they are on the wrong side. Why is the Winter Soldier part of the narrative? He illustrates what heroes become as tools of government.
I liked Civil War, though Ironman is my favorite character, so I didn’t like the side he chose.
Just watched the trailer and it looks like Thor is another part of the franchise that I will be giving up on. It looks like they are making the Natalie Portman character into the next Thor while Hemsworth goes off to “find himself”. Just like Captain Marvel, they ruin the characters and then wonder why no one wants to watch their movies anymore.
Well, they wouldn’t like Bill and Ted’s excellent adventure. At one point, when they realize they’re both alive and well, they hug each other, then draw pack, point at each other, and say “f**!”
They’re making too much of these things.
I saw that trailer. It was clear that in this scene Thor was flirting with some lady-superhero by goofing around. Twitter is full of weirdos.
Chris is practically a Kennedy now.
Doesn't that make him ... I was going to write "bulletproof," but now that doesn't seem quite right ...
