BTW TLS - Dh is working on turning his log splitter to electric motor. It just involves taking off the gas engine and putting an electric motor on. Size of motor depends on log splitter requirements. His needs 1 or more HP. He unseized the motor and it also needed bushings, he ordered and they arrived, so he’s working on it when he has time. When it’s all finished I’ll have him tell me exactly what he did and let you know, maybe others would be interested too.
