Maybe just moving out of San Francisco would improve things. People there are constantly surrounded by a bubble of stupidity. Even some of the same people would be a bit more normal if they moved to Austin.
Austin does not need anymore of those loony liberals. Take your suggestion and put it where the sun don’t shine.
Or better yet, Cedar Rapids, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Louisville, Huntsville, or any one of a hundred other cities in the heartland.
Not sure Austin would help. It’s called “a Californian cancer on the great state of Texas” for a reason.
