I only go now if I'm desperate. Now that I'm older I do all of the cancer preventive checks but I'm getting ready to stop all of those too.

I'll go one better (or worse) I was taken to a doctor after a fainting spell in the 5th grade. Got put on Dilantin and meboral all through high school for seizures - even though the doctor could NEVER recreate the incident. I took myself off of it. Being so through.y medicated and zoned really screwed up my life for awhile. I didn't even know how to feel anything for years.
What I had was Vasovagal syncope. It was my mom that trusted that charlatan. If he were still alive today (and he could be, but doubtful) I'd sue the shit out of him.
