That’s not going to help with climate change.

“Neptune’s design is based on the Soviet Kh-35 anti-ship missile, with substantially improved range and electronics.[1] The system is designed to defeat surface warships and transport vessels with a displacement of up to 5,000 tons, either in convoys or moving individually.

“The system entered service with the Ukrainian Navy in March 2021

“Neptune coastal defence system comprises a USPU-360 truck-based mobile launcher, four missiles, a TZM-360 transport/reload vehicle, a RCP-360 command and control vehicle, and a special cargo vehicle. The system is designed to operate up to 25 km inland of the coastline.[2]

“A Neptune missile including rocket motor is 5,050 mm in length, with a cross-shaped hard wing. Neptune missiles are designed to be housed in transport and launch containers (TLC) with dimensions 5,300 × 600 × 600 mm. The system has a maximum range of about 300 km.[10][11] A single missile weighs 870 kg, of which 150 kg is the warhead.”

I don’t believe anything I hear and only half of what I see. That being said, obviously there’s a war going on and it’s not going Rasputins way.

If true, should be seen from orbit. We have very good imagers and sensors...

The USMC is taking notes as they shift to the NMESIS anti-ship system. An enemy navy can get bottled up in close proximity to land.

Hello, Taiwan.

Forbes is doubtful:

If true this gives the Russians plentiful motivation to take Odessa and the rest of Southwest Ukraine.

Maksym Marchenko, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, writes: "It has been confirmed that the missile cruiser "Moskva" today went exactly where it was sent by our border guards on Snake Island! Neptune missiles … caused very serious damage to the Russian ship."

Does Ukraine still have border guards on Snake Island? I thought they were all captured by the Russians?

More good news! Ukraine is hitting Russians at the Kherson airport AGAIN tonight since the Russians brought in more helicopters and other equipment from Crimea to attack Mykolaiv. They'll never learn.

Obviously, skepticism is in order. It would certainly be a significant accomplishment and have an impact on the Black Sea Fleet.
