Desantis P / Pompeo VP; being Governer is good work experience for the Presidency. Pompeo has the international experience as you say.
Both are ex-military which would be excellent. President Trump should should encourage the two of them. (I Imagine Italian American population clustered around the NY/NJ area should vocally support them! Tired of Crime....time for some street cleaning! )

Trump as you know is/was surrounded by MARINES.
He deserves to be in office, easily, for two years, four years, whatever he wishes.
I do think it’s fantastic that DeSantis is a perfect age, and a MARINE, and, so far, all MAGA in his independent actions.
I would love him to be Trump’s wingman, for Trump’s 2 year reinstatement, as his VP, rather than Pence. Or, even serve as the wingman to Pompeo, on the international front.
Pompeo was soo vauable, Priceless really, at State.
What a great ticket for 2024, should Trump decline.
