I don’t think DeSantis will run for Pres until Trump is finished with whatever term/s he has left.

Nevertheless, DeSantis is bringing a large footprint, not playing around, showing his muscular foresight, fortitude, and, all of it screaming with the MAGA platform.. which is 100% Trump’s own legacy and agenda.
Trump is mum, either on purpose, or, in the case of an “end run” scenario, because POTUS can not, due to the familiar MAGA substance of each DeSantis movements.

POTUS 45 is good for “reinstatement”. He has signaled no interest, so far, in another regular, old & grueling campaign, in 2024, and will doubtless be looking forward to the future for MAGA being enshrined in stone for at least a couple of generations. Advance personnel is a keystone

Chris Miller & Pence, tied to the strings of the heart is strange. Like Sessions, [for me] all three wore their duty to their end, but weirdly, are still an enigma.
Maybe they will all wind up overseeing a DeSantis administration. IDK. 🤔
All I know is DeSantis is proving with increasing frequency to be gaining altitude, for a reason. Why that is true is the mystery.
