Ya. the 'Ship in a Bottle' episode was good. The fellow who played Moriarty did a good job.
My other fav TNG episode is "Chain of Command".
There. Are. Four. Lights!

We need Cloud Donald to come back and read the sacred words again.
Interesting back story on the woman who came in to make the script changes DC Fontana. Transforming it from a crewman who was about to be executed for dealing drugs on the ship to Dr McCoy going back in time after an accidental overdose saved the story I think.

You write something great, it’s your baby, you don’t want people messing with it, in this case good thing they did.

Here's some Joan Collins trivia for you. Collins was cast in the film noir caper picture Seven Thieves in which she plays a Burlesque dancer. The studio hired none other than Candy Barr to teach her to dance and do the shimmy. Here they are

“What the difference between his version and what they did?”
Basically, millions of dollars in today’s money. Ellison was a Sci-Fi writer not fettered with TV budget and time constraints. Supposedly, Roddenbery and another writer locked themselves in a room for days with nothing but cigarettes and booze in order to “fix” it.

IMO, “I, Robot” has still never been filmed, although there is a movie of that name.

It was a different episode called ‘Requiem for Methuselah’.

Among other things, in Ellison's script the drug that McCoy was accidentally injected with was an illegal drug being trafficked by some of the engineering crew on the Enterprise. Roddenberry cut that part out, insisting that in the future, illicit drug use would not exist.
Ellison went on to write an entire book griping about this, and the book included his original script.

No way to pick just one out of that series.
But the kid in me liked the Gorn. :-)

That so called "I Robot" movie was nothing like the Isaac Asimov short stories and the book compilation of which the unfilmed screenplay was written. They ripped off the names of a couple of characters.
Janet Jeppson Asimov graciously made a statement about "I Robot" saying that it was a worthwhile movie in its own right. But I know that the real "I Robot" would eclipse "Citizen Kane."

Hartley was in ‘All Our Yesterdays’ [S03E23]. Did deal with time travel. TOS only had time travel episodes half or less as much as later series. The one I posted wasn’t dealing with time travel.
Here’s the list of all ST series and movies involving time travel;
