I hope we don’t lose all these wonderful things that are so complicated and expensive when society crashes. I hope somehow they can be preserved. Don't worry! There will be a special order of monks and scribes tasked with preserving this valuable information!
They will weave vast tapestries memorializing the discovery of this remarkable exoplanet - illuminated with cherubim and seraphim, of course.
