Well in the sense that Hitler attacked Stalin and Stalin was at fault, yes. That comparison fits.

I think Zelensky who is apparently not the greatest, is hardly a Stalin who murdered tens of millions of Russian citizens. So yes, a false analogy.

I was not comparing Zelensky to Stalin in how bad I thought the were. I was allowing that like Stalin, Zelensky might be bad even though he was unfairly attacked.

The point of this discussion is whether Putin is justified in invading the Ukraine without provocation and killing and destroying millions of innocent lives and destroying much of the country.

This astonishing contingent in FR including yourself that seems to support his invasion has yet to offer a coherent rationale for that support.
