All wars are full of lies. Winston Churchill famously said, “In wartime, truth is so precious that she should always be attended by a bodyguard of lies.”
We accept that idea broadly. Secret invasion plans should be closely held. The identities of spies must be kept under wraps. New weapons and defensive tools should not be revealed because enemies will be alerted to their potential and begin offensive workarounds.
Still, just because the government has legitimate reasons to deceive the public in wartime does not mean that citizens don’t have a duty to find the truth to the extent they can.
The Russian-Ukraine kinetic war and the broader U.S.-Russian economic war are full of more lies than any public events I’ve seen in my lifetime including Vietnam, Watergate and the Iraq War.
That’s how big the lies are…

6. Russia doesn’t want Kviev, and said so repeatedly.
7. Russia doesn’t want all of Ukraine, but will destroy it if necessary.

The war is coming to an end—days not weeks and it will be over. The USA will have to rebuild the place. At the same time the Liberal agenda is also coming to an end—as well as the Biden rule. Slowly coming apart at the seems. When the war ends with a “peace” treaty. Look to see China move on Taiwan and those Islands owned by Japan. They will have Pakistan keep India occupied and Iran keep Israel busy when they launch a blitz on the Island Nation. Lets see if they do better than Putin’s Russia? My bet they will. And the Liberal left will be blaming Taiwan and Trump for that war.

If you mean Kiev, it was a move repeated dozens of times on the eastern front in WWII. These thrusts made Kiev have to commit forces there instead of rushing everything to the Donbass. It also made potentially encircled nazi militias in the east have to look behind or risk entrapment...as also happened dozens of times in WWII.
In short, to Kiev it looked like an attack everywhere, at once. In the vaporlock of their minds, the main Russian force taking the Donbass was not facing the whole Uke military at once.
