from telegram, video is very sad
⚡️A resident of Bucha shows her daughter’s body. She was shot dead by a Russian soldier on the first day during the occupation of the city.
The woman went out of the gate to look at the column of equipment, and she was shot for no reason. Her mother buried her as best she could in the yard.
The food is sky high around here - eggs especially. Glad we stocked up.
The government wants to see bread lines in the US.
Yep.....opposite day, in opposite land, every day with these clowns.
Barack Obama will return to the White House Tuesday for the first time since leaving office to celebrate his ‘Obamacare’ Affordable Health Care with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as they flounder in the polls
He “returned” when BYE-DONE stole the Presidency.
Amen. Thank you.
Two months ago eggs were 89 cents/ dozen at Aldi. Now, $1.99
I really wish you could send me some diet coke. I miss having it around.
What do they have there?
Lots of stuff. Coke, sprite, and sometimes even coke zero. BTW, coke zero does not taste the same as diet coke. Not even close. Just no diet coke. It can be ordered and is rather expensive. But, I do it sometimes.
I asked the hubs to go check and see if this one little store was able to get some. The proprietor does every so often. So, he came back with a carton of ... coke zero. No, diet coke available.
I just enjoy it.
Thanks, lysie!
I just popped into Fox Business to check the market, and I see Mike Huckabee is on. It made me think about Mike Huckabee being the governor or Arkansas awhile back. It made me wonder how much he knew about the Clinton crime spree in Arkansas when Bill and Hill were there. I’m thinking he must know quite a bit, including the drug trafficking, the killing of 15 year-old boy witnesses, the whole nine yards.
I honestly hope Madison Cawthorn has started something - this whole can on corrupt worms needs to be opened wide.
Good morning, lysie!
How lucky can one guy be?
You made a plate of BACON for me!
Like the fella once said: Ain’t that a kick in the head!
Thank you!
From FL lawyer JEff Childers’ Covid and Commentary email this morning:
🔥 BREAKING NEWS: ABC News reported this morning that “Tesla CEO Elon Musk takes a 9.2% stake in Twitter.” According to a regulatory filing this morning, Musk disclosed he has bought 73.5 million shares in the social media giant. In this filing, he designated the purchase as a passive investment, meaning he plans to hold the shares long-term.
ABC reported that investment advisor Dan Ives sent clients a memo early this morning saying, “We would expect this passive stake as just the start of broader conversations with the Twitter board/management that could ultimately lead to an active stake and a potential more aggressive ownership role of Twitter.”
Recently Musk has been extremely critical of Twitter’s censorship. The market seems to like the news, since shares have already surged 25%, also meaning Musk immediately made a ton of money on the buy.
Obviously, I have not had a chance to dig into this for you. But most publicly-traded companies have a threshold where people or companies owning a certain minimum share amount either get a seat on the board or have a significant say in corporate policy. It will be interesting to watch how Musk, now owning nearly 10% of the social media company, alters the firm’s future direction and prospects.”
Williams leads UC Davis to first win of Tommy Nicholson era in Riverside
Riverside, Calif. - James Williams III hit a two-run triple in the top of the ninth and UC Davis picked up the first win of the Tommy Nicholson era at UC Davis, defeating UC Riverside 12-8 on Sunday in Riverside.
Williams III tied the game at seven on a home run in the seventh inning before playing hero again in the ninth.
Nick Leehey led off the final frame with a walk and Jonah Henrickson singled to put the Aggies (1-15, 1-8) in business with two on and none out, setting up Williams’ 0-1 triple to deep center.
Bryan Green pitched the final seven innings, essentially throwing a quality start with just two earned runs on six hits with four strikeouts for the first win of his career. Kyler Arenado went 2-5 with three RBIs, Henrickson went 2-4 with three runs scored and Leehey scored twice to lead the Aggies.
Williams III continued his hot streak with the bat, going 3-5 with four RBIs for his third straight mult-hit day. His streak has his average up to .348 on the season after going 10-14 this week over UC Davis’ four games.
For the third time this season the Aggies were the first to strike with Henrickson’s RBI groundout scoring J.D. Mico.
Though UC Riverside scored six runs in the second inning, the Aggies battled by scoring once in the fourth, fifth and the seventh to set up a five-run ninth inning.
With 12 runs in back-to-back games, the Aggies are averaging 10 runs per game over their last four.
UC Davis returns to Dobbins Stadium April 8-10 to host CSU Bakersfield for a three-game set.
Also from the email above:
“Hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin are now officially-approved early treatments for Covid in Kansas. Last Thursday, Kansas’ Senate sent a letter to its state healthcare providers establishing that “the standard of care [for Covid-19] is early treatment with FDA-approved medications regardless of their labelled uses,” and warning that “failure to treat will now be considered wanton disregard.”
Nice!
The notice follows the passage of Kansas’ HB 2280 into law. The bill was titled “Authorizing the prescribing and dispensing of medications for off-label use to prevent and treat COVID-19 infections and requiring child care facilities and schools to grant religious exemptions from vaccination requirements without inquiring into the sincerity of such religious beliefs.”
You’ll like the first paragraph of the bill. It provides:
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, a prescriber may prescribe a prescription drug approved by the United States food and drug administration, including, but not limited to, hydroxychloroquine sulfate and ivermectin, for an off-label use to prevent or treat COVID-19 infection in a patient.
The bill also says that recommending or prescribing off-label drugs for Covid treatment “shall not be considered unprofessional conduct.”
Kansans, leading the way.”
Morning!
Looks delicious, thanks.
Gub is that your son!?
