Net income after taxes isn’t the war chest. But comprehend the war chest that comes with getting a profit that you actually report of $2.5B during a down year.

No I’m comparing how much money Disney has to spend when they want something, with how much money Florida has to spend PERIOD. Even if we compare to something smaller like the Lucas acquisition. That was $4B. You think Florida can scrape up $4B in lawyers to argue with Disney? Heck let’s just go with yours. Let’s pretend last year’s profit was the ENTIRE Disney war chest. Can Florida scrape $2.5B worth of lawyers?

Disney has more money to spend, YOU just proved it.

“Net income after taxes isn't the war chest.”

But you don't take $71 billion out of a $2.5 billion after tax annual income in one fell swoop.

Disney most likely borrowed money for the $71B purchase and will repay over a couple of decades with dollars that predictably will be devalued via inflation. The interest rate is low I'm guessing.

That is one reason it is wrong to compare Disney's payments over decades with Florida's annual budget of over $100 billion.

I have acknowledged that Disney is very, very powerful and dangerous company. And corrupt.

I'll concede this too: A Republican governor like Charley Crist, or Jeb Bush would not have a chance standing up to the plastic rat. Neither would a Governor discostu.

Not one of those - and maybe few Republicans in the current Florida legislature - has the knowledge or inclination to stand up to the plastic rat.

They would be scared; you are scared of the plastic rat. I am not going to criticize you for being scared.

Ron Desantis is not scared. Lead on Governor.
