Oscars co-host Wanda Sykes slammed the Academy, calling their actions 'gross' for allowing Will Smith to remain in the theater Sunday night after he slapped Chris Rock, a display she said made her feel 'physically ill.'

'It was sickening,' Sykes said in a televised interview on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show. 'I felt physically ill and I'm still a little traumatized by it.'

Smith, 53, stunned the audience at Dolby Theatre and millions of television viewers at Sunday night's Oscars when he marched onto the stage and slapped Rock, 57, after the comedian made a bald joke about Smith's wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, who has spoken publicly about losing her hair due to alopecia.

When Smith returned to his seat, the 'King Richard' star yelled at Rock, 'Keep my wife's name out your (expletive) mouth.'

Less than an hour later, Smith won the Best Actor award for his portrayal of Richard Williams - father of tennis legends Serena and Venus.

It’s hard to guess who that may be. I’ve never been terribly entranced, but a lot of people are into Chappelle these days, so it could be him. Whoever it is, is 100% correct, unless something dramatic is done to punish Will Smith, something that is NOT cowardly ‘walked back’ 12 hours later in fear of BLM, this will signal Open Season on any stand up comic.

Rock doesn’t get a piece of the profit from scalpers.

And it will be fairly easy to calculate damages...it’s just a matter of how much at this point. Look at how people who did not get slapped are traumatized by the events.

He has several years to sue. he will have to wait to see what physical and mental damages accrue as well as career damages. A sold out tour right after an event doesn’t mean he won’t get blackballed depending on what happens.

He could claim it was a staged event and that Will Smith had agreed to pay him oh, say $20Mil for bein’ able to slap him on live TV and didn’t pay it. The slap was evidence of the existing contract, so Will’s gotta pay up?

He could claim it was simply an act of violence which damages the community of black folks who are desperately trying to find ways of exiting this culture that upholds stupidshiite violence. He could make some headway with that one. Maybe.

He could challenge Will Smith to a cage match, the winner to get a check for his favorite charity from the luzer. In Smith’s case he would get a check for the apoplexia Foundation, or whatever-the-hell disease his wife has. In Rock’s case he could get a check for some Foundation-against-violence-that-black-people-engage-in or whatevs.
