Because they are hell to try and repaint unless you’re gonna use a sprayer. Same thing goes for stippling. Both are just means to hide imperfections in the taping, mudding and sanding of the sheet rock.
So, when you do make sheetrock (drywall) repairs on a formerly stipled surface, how do you blend in the new 1 ft x 1 ft area to get close to the rest of the wall?
