My old motorhead buddies are pretty much settled on 1969 or 1970 Plymouth Fury.
Anons were no help.
Plain-Jane model, like the State Police would order.
The mark on the trunk lid is likely a hole left from removing the model tag.

Likely a Fury; the trunk key "plate" over there on the right side of the rear face of the trunk lid is a good tell. My Mopar dealership uncle probably would have said - somewhat Sherlock Holmes-like - that the setting looks more "Plymouth" than "Dodge" or "Chrysler."
The county sheriff's department Furies of my HS era were grudgingly admired for the rural blacktop pursuits that ended poorly for some of us gearheads. The burgundy '68-'70's they used were the stuff of legend.

Thanks so much, Cletus!
Growing up our family had a 1969 Newport so it looked very familiar to me but
the Mrs needed some additional confirmation and she has now acquiesced.
