Cancún, Quintana Roo: Armed Attack At The Airport
Excerpt:
A shootout at Terminal 3 of the Cancun airport mobilized elements of the Quintana Roo Police and the National Guard, it’s unknown at this time if there is anyone injured.
At least twenty police elements mobilized inside the terminal area after hearing the gunfire; some loaded long arms and ran to the interior of the airport.
In the videos, the bewildered uniformed officers are seen looking for the origin of the attack, while passengers run to protect themselves from the bullets.
An ambulance arrived at the scene. Similarly, the suspension of operations was announced until further notice. So far, the reason for the armed attack hasn’t been reported.

I’ve never been a fan of Mexico as a tourist destination. If this continues Cancun will be like Acapulco, a deserted former vacation hotspot left to the cartels.
