I quit taking a statin after a while, because I seemed to have the muscle damage/weakening that had been reported. After a few weeks off of it, I was fine.
Doc put me on a different one that didn’t bother me.
The change in my neuropathy was almost instant. Within three days I was able to use only a cream to bring the pain into the tolerable range.
I reported the change to my doctor, she didn’t bother trying anything else on me.
