From one of the photo stills, looks like part of the tail is missing.

Yes, we noted that in the plunge video, even though it was fuzzy and far away, it appeared that there was no tail. And there was a ‘flash’ just before the aircraft plunged thru the cloud cover. Lightning?........................

If it was a missile, there should be one or more debris fields, outside of the crash site, that would show the break-up on the way down. RIP to all onboard.
