Why did our so called Intelligence Community NOT know/predict this lack of capability of the Russian Army. My thought is our spy agencies are too busy spying on American deplorables.

“Between the end of April and Mid-May 2022, the Ukrainian Army will be able to counter-attack EVERYWHERE..."

To counter-attack, you kind of need an army that wasn't surrounded in the beginning of April.

The Russians found that out in 1941.

In February, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley told lawmakers a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine could take Kyiv in 72 hours

When has Milley ever been right? He's a woke POS.

Too bad that blogstar Trent Telenko hasn’t been made a General.

He’s totally smarter than everyone.

Give him a click, I’m sure he’ll tell you all about it.

“Why did our so called Intelligence Community NOT know/predict this lack of capability of the Russian Army.”

Remember how the Pentagon ordered a bazillion body bags for Desert Storm? And how the vaunted and Russian trained Iraqi Republican Guards were going to slaughter American troops?

And then we slaughtered them.

Ditto with the Russians. It’s one part overestimating the enemy and one part openly lying about the enemy in order to secure defense budget money.

They were surprised when the Norks and Pakistan detonated nukes too.

Why would they pick up om maintenance issues?

I worked in a garage that did contract work for a facility that rebuilt army trucks that were sent to Iraq. Each truck was stripped to the frame. If the frame had issues it was replaced. Every thing was rebuilt or replaced.

We dismounted and mounted the 24” tires. Some of the tires that were replaced were definitely Chinese junk.

We only mounted current production Goodyear, Bridgestone or Michelin tires,

What do you think the Russians are using for tires?

We are learning the difference between Russian style corruption and American style.

* In America a friend of a Congressman gets $100 million dollars for a $50 million dollar job of supplying tires to the army. Someone still checks to make sure our trucks have working tires.

* In Russia a friend of Putin gets a $100 million dollars for a $50 million dollar job of supplying tires to the army. $5 million of that goes to buy some used Chinese tires, another $10 million goes to bribe the guy in charge of checking the tires. The rest is profit.

We know about the tires and other issues, but this guy goes on to say in 6-8 weeks all equipment will be down and Russia won’t be able to supply food to troops 20-30 kilometers in, which is ridiculous, as is a few other things in that very slanted article. Ukraine has no chance of winning without direct US & NATO intervention.

In a few more weeks the only thing left will be the insurgency which they’ve already planned and trained for. US special ops is rumored to already be deployed for special operations. We (the US) are going to keep this going on as long as possible, to wear down the Russians and keep Russia isolated from the Western democracies, i.e. discourage Nordstream2 and anything that would leave Europe dependent on Russian energy. This was the plan all along, all the rest is just window dressing to make it palatable to the people.

This whole entire Ukrainian fiasco has made the ‘vaunted’ Russian military look like one big fat joke.

Imagine all the existing US-Russian military comparison vids, etc. and their validity when put in the perspective of what the Ukrainians are doing against this ‘vaunted’ Russian military. LMAO. What a frakin peddling joke these vids are or have become. And what a frakin joke the Russian military has displayed thus far in Ukraine. Pathetic and Putin should be flipping mad as hell, but he is at fault as well.

The people in Russian cities buy stuff brought in by truck.

They know how to change tires in Russia too.

Our "intelligence" community is garbage and it has always been garbage.

These agencies are outfitted with Ivy league "geniuses" running their operations and they are utterly liberal.

They never get anything right. They have been most notable for being completely unable to ever anticipate events or do anything else useful.

They are idiots and their list of failures is astonishing. What is even more astonishing is why we keep this collection of fools employed.

The last time they did anything right was under Eisenhower, and now i'm beginning to think those successes were accidents.

Because Putin is a consummate propagandist. His career and life depend on projecting an image of strength and concealing weakness.

i looked very carefully at many of the details of the russian equipment shown in the videos ... one of the things i noticed was that the door seals were cracked and desiccated, so one could see that this russian equipment was ancient junk that had probably been sitting around for decades without maintenance ...

In February, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley told lawmakers a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine could take Kyiv in 72 hours.

Last August he said the Taliban would not take Kabul for a year. Why does this asshat still have a job? Because he is a died in the wool Democrat who hates Donald Trump! That has to be the reason because it cannot be his military competence.

While I believe Telenko is correct about everything he says regarding the Russian army sadly I suspect it is just as true of the Ukrainian Army. With high levels of political corruption and a whole series of revolutions in Ukraine it is doubtful the military budget has not been skimmed in exactly the same way as the Russian military budget with the same resulting lack of maintenance.
