This movie isn’t shown a lot but it is Hitchcock at the top of his craft. You will have a fun night at the movies and, as usual, be on the edge of your seat.

This is the type of film we used to get on Saturday night on the local PBS with the long-time host making the film selections and commentary. He passed away so we have a new host who selects the likes of “The Founder” which will air tonight, the story of Ray Kroc and the McDonald brothers. Not a bad film but still not class film noir with actors like Rains and Bergman.

This is a great flick especially Rains’ mother who is the personification of evil.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I just happened to catch it one night 20 years ago on TV and have probably watched it 5 or 6 times since then. Perhaps one of the most suspenseful movies I have ever seen. Of course, Ingrid Bergman is absolutely terrific - one of the all time great actresses.

This is my favorite Hitchcock movie, who shockingly never won an Oscar. FWIW, it was nominated for 2 Oscars, Supporting Actor (Claude Raines) and Original Screenplay, but did not win either one. Roger Ebert included it in his list of 10 favorite films.

Great movie, but I never thought of it as film noir. Claude Rains is fantastic.

Thanks for the recommendation. I saw the film many years ago, but forgot most of it.
