It’s all just so insane that it seems like it can’t be real.
It just goes to show that human nature hasn’t changed. It’s the same group think from the story of the emperor’s new clothes written in the early 1800’s.
The witch trials of the 1600’s are another example of that mass hysteria.
Even further back, remember how the crowd turned on Jesus in favor of Barabas? Just days before they were astounded at the miracles He performed and followed Him around like sheep.
Barabas; name means “son of the father”
...a guilty crimminal they wanted spared
Jesus is the Son of the Father
...the sinless Savior they wanted to be crucified
They knew these details at the time!
