Did you know that during the last solar eclipse in North America, temperatures were recorded at all stages along the entire path with measurements spaced approximately 10 miles apart in the continental US.
Over the distance and time of the eclipse, temperatures dropped an average of 10 degrees at full-eclipse.

I was out photographing the eclipse (or trying to - clouds rolled in and ruined it) - I can attest to at least a 10 degree drop.
