This is true because emotions lie.
No, not because I say so. You know I don’t do stuff like that. Check Clif High’s record. That’s what I’m going by. He admits often that he interprets the data incorrectly, but the data is seldom wrong (think future proves past). Further there are a lot of other linguistic bots out there that predict trends quite well. It’s a very good method of gathering data. No one said anything about isolating anything in time. It’s all blurry and based on probabilities.

Interesting, I believe the connection is the level of propensity to be affected by Mass Psychosis
impressionable idealistic people get easily swayed by propaganda that demonizes opponents or creates influential fear,
and mass psychosis is not limited to left leaners, there are plenty of warmongers and covid cult followers on the right as well

At this point, “right/left Democrat/Republican” mean almost nothing. What matters is “Truth vs Lies”.
People who want truth are not taken in by propaganda.
It takes a LOT more than playing with the contrast to pull that off...
