DNR is counter-battery.

You need to work on your English. Is it your second language?

OSCE reports often show fire from the Russian side coming first, with the Ukrainians firing back. You know that if you read the reports, so stop telling lies that a quick read of the OSCE reports shows to be false.

Most military targets would not be feasible and/or have a significant outcome. Civilian targets are more feasible but would work against the current PR slant, and potentially provoke an emotional response from. Ukraine’s biggest strength right now is being weak. Use the dominate strategy to draw in international favors until you are no longer weak, or are defeated. Ukraine will stay on the defensive until a more favorable strategy presents itself.

If they could they would. But they would hit air bases, not civilians. They can’t do that either.

When it comes to military equipment and personnel, Ukraine is doing damage. When it comes to infrastructure, housing and civilian casualties, Ukraine is taking terrible damage, Russia none.

Reminds me of this quote found on the Budapest Agreement page

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Budapest_Memorandum_on_Security_Assurances

American diplomat who was involved in drafting the Budapest Memorandum, later commented on “the mendacity of Russian diplomacy and its contempt for international opinion when the foreign minister says something that can be proven wrong with less than 30 seconds of Google fact-checking?”[37]

The Azov, Aidar, Donbas and Dnipro battalions, financed by laundered US aid money, started to attack the Donetsk and Lugansk areas back in 2014.

The DPR and LPR regions refused to accept the legitimacy of the coup government. They chose self-rule - and thanks to the help of the friendly superpower next door, they’ve been able to resist the aggression of the coup regime.

They cannot get close enough. Russian SAMs would tear apart their old jets. I suspect that is what some of those new drones are all about.

I think a more pertinent obvious question would be why did they not stop the Russians before or upon entry to Ukraine?

Same reason the Poles didn't stop the Germans at the border in 1939 - Inability to do so. On the other hand, the Germans were able to stop the French invasion of Germany at the outbreak of World War II. Because they could despite overwhealming French superiority in forces.

You seem like you have an idea how many Russian soldiers have been killed. Why don’t you share it with us. More than 1000? How about more than 5000?

So how about you identify some targets in Russia, and what weapons were used?

Even if Ukraine can’t or won’t it would make for some good propaganda.

I can see the headlines: Ukraine missile battery takes out Russian SAM site in Russian territory. Good moral booster for the Ukrainians.

But they can easily take out Russian armor and aircraft as a matter of routine?

Not buying that, no sale.

They can’t.

Their airfields are destroyed. Any airplanes they might have remaining can’t get off the ground. Missile bases have been targeted already. Even if they manage to get one off, the return fire will be instantaneous.

When these two knot-heads eventually sign an agreement ending this conflict, it will be the same agreement they could have signed before Putin attacked.

The DPR and LPR regions refused to accept the legitimacy of the coup government.

And then they attacked the rest of the nation they are a part of, aided by the Russians.

The Ukraine suffered from election interference and Russian backed candidates taking over the government. When hundreds of thousands of citizens threw them out and then elected a new government the Russian stooges took over the Donbass region.

Now the Russians are trying to take over the entire country.
