You really have to scrape to find 11 mistakes. Stupid list post. Funny how the first 2 mistakes are exactly opposite. Don’t buy too much or too little. How does anyone know what is too much or too little? That is stupid advice. Most people buy Tesla for the same reason they buy prius or corvette. It’s all about appearances. Nobody thinks that much when they buy for emotional reasons.

My throwing two grand in cash at a used car dealer for my ‘99 GMC Suburban and only having to deal with minor upkeep back in 2015.
The thing’s a tank, and will get me anywhere reliably.

I’d seriously consider leasing a Tesla. I don’t think buying an electric car when the technology is still evolving so rapidly is a great idea.

Don’t make the first mistake by buying an overpriced Tesla. It’s a 60-80k car that will be dead as a door nail in less than 10 years. Then you get to replace the battery for about 15k more.
