Will watch after the Trump rally. The past few weeks have been some good choices so thank you for doing this.
As an aside, I'm reading "The Big Sleep" by Raymond Chandler. I've never seen the movie version of that but maybe that can be a choice for another week.

Ah. Watched Please Murder Me perhaps 10 years ago. It was one of the entries in a cheap CD seat of murder movies that I bought on a lark. Most of the others were simply dreadful. I really liked seeing Burr and Lansbury in this. They made a rather simple script and story work.

Another great film of the genre:
“Cause for Alarm! (1951)”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_bNDDM5ABQ
As the delusional George Jones (Barry Sullivan) struggles to recover from a crippling heart attack, he begins to believe his wife, Ellen (Loretta Young), and friend, Dr. Grahame (Bruce Cowling), are planning to kill him in order to be together. George decides to write the authorities about his wife’s supposed murder plot. But when he really does die, of health complications, the innocent Ellen realizes that she must stop the letter before she’s accused of killing her husband.

Is it on amazon prime or netflix?
I’m busy with the Last Kingdom, but the wife likes mystery movies.

I liked Angela Lansbury in The Manchurian Candidate.
The original one with frank Sinatra.

Thanks.
Another good choice from the vintage years.
