I don’t know how skewed my experience is. Maybe the rest of the country is wising up? I hope so.

I just having a no good, very bad day: it’s my local grandson’s birthday and we were not told about his party. Definitely not invited. And the other grandchild I have seen only once in the last three years is in town for the party, in secret. So, the whole family is participating in the shunning/exclusion. My sweet grandson will be wondering why we didn’t come to his party.

Ah, so sorry to hear about this. It is also happening to a dear friend, in much the same way. Those family members are well educated and intelligent, which has nothing to do with common sense. I hope and pray that the scales fall from their eyes.

Haven’t seen 2 grandsons due to Covid. (We’re not vaxxed)
Never met the other 2 grandsons due to an ex-wife.

Continue to bless them. God will soften hearts and answer the desires of our hearts.

so sorry for that rejection....its very curious....I've got a son who could do the same thing....I think he's bipolar....but he has threatened to not let us see the grandkids a time or two, in an underhanded way....
