I only eat my own home cooking too. Scary stuff at restaurants and in packaged foods.
The current problem for “us” is that the cost of fresh produce and meats have jumped.
My simple grocery costs (2 people, home cook, fresh ingredients) has gone up $30 in the last month.
I only expect the cost to moderate/plateau in the coming local growing season.
The local Farmer’s Market will tell a tale of woe.
