LOL...my buddy took care of me. Nowadays, your friends would draw crap on you with a permanent marker and shave half you head.
He watched out for me, even the next morning when I didn’t show up for muster. He made an excuse for me, and the Petty Officer accepted it. I didn’t regain consciousness until 11:00 AM the next morning.
