Prince William uses the word “alien” in statement. Awkward… or code?
I don’t think it’s code. His — and my generation — are not accustomed to seeing war in Europe, so it is alien. Too many idiots are jumping in trying to trip him up. Especially odious is the comment from the editor of the Indian newspaper who is trying to claim the violence in India is the fault of the British.
It’s been about 75 years now since India has been independent. Plenty long enough to straighten things out. Nobody else’s fault now.
