Day 10 of People's Convoy
MD 'Freak State' Ping!
Let me know if you want on/off this list.....
please add me to your list.
thanks
Please add me to your ping list.
Added.
Put me on list. We saw some of the convoy come through Danbury, CT on Wednesday afternoon.
Sorry about your troubles Sal. They’ll forgive you if you’re not there.
Added. Welcome.
Flat with a tension migraine too, now.
This has been unbearably hard.
If it lets up at all, I still will try to go tomorrow.
Are you talking about the portion where I-270, I-495 and MD 355 intersect? That is a serious mixmaster. And it does have some accidents; I remember more than one traffic jam in that area when I lived in MD.
We The People FJB??? I’m not sure any of the people actually want to FJB, including Jill Biden.
I’m guessing those packs were 8 to 10 dollars apiece in early 2021.
Geez, must you put Nikki Fried’s face on this thread??? I gotta deal with her down here at some point in time, I guess, when I eventually purchase a handgun and have to deal with the carry permitting process in FL. Fortunately, I suspect I can do that stuff at the tax collector’s office in Warrington (near Pensacola).
When I move to Pensacola, Florida in November, I went to a great place called Maguire’s, which features Irish pub fare, a few times. One thing that staggered me was that most of the steak offerings were as high as 50 bucks. Fortunately, the Irish grub, beer and other things were reasonably priced.
I sincerely hope your dog gets better. My dad (RIP) was a dog lover, and one of his dogs died of cancer. Hopefully, that won’t be the case here.
Osteosarcoma kills.
The issue is how fast.
I’m desperately trying to up his odds so that I can find a way to survive losing him.
He’s not even 5, yet.
I’ve not been much for posting lately because honestly, I’m out on the ledge.
Now, the issue of gas being sky high and getting him to his treatments so far away, has thrown another obstacle in my way.
I’ve never been beaten this far down in my life.
I reckon I’m not invincible, after all.
Yes.
When I started working Crystal City - 25 years ago - I learned quickly don’t drive on the west side for commute.
Every afternoon….there was an overturned truck on the inner loop near/in the 270 triangle. Blocking traffic.
I actually drove east side of DC in preference. Then I found the train and subway which is vastly better.
Ok, just watched OAN report on the convoy.
They stated only “we can confirm there are at least 100 trucks”.
This is again far off from all the claims here.
So, I’ll believe it when I see it!
But I sure would like to think there are 1000, or 7000 (here/FB) or 38,000 (Breitbart) or whatever some optimistic estimates have been.
;)
I am here. They delayed DC until tomorrow. Truckers need a rest and waiting on additional convoys. Surrounded by the 3 percent. Slept in my truck last night. 27 degrees. Florida girls here. Brrrr.
I ate so many Tylenol to stop the migraine that i feel sick but I tried to get near it.
Not gonna happen.
People I know who live right across from there say the road is a parking lot.
I tried going up to Huyetts Crossroads to see if it was possible and there’s a line up the hill from there, and that’s 4 miles from the speedway. Everybody and their dog has come out.
This is a big deal to the locals and I reckon the truckers are amazed by the support they’re getting.
It’s a MAGA party, now.
All over town there are vehicles flying huge flags in all the shopping centers and the local motels are full up with them, too.
I might try again later tonight, like 10pm or so in case there’s a break in the traffic but I’m not betting on it.
This. Is. Huge.
