medicare 65 but SS close to 67 and rising.....the one "must" thing is to be sure to decide about Medicare Part B...that's the one that they'll charge you extra for if you don't sign up for it at 65 unless you are covered by your work or a spouse...
I continued working til 67 and had coverage and had to get a letter confirming that to show Medicare...
tricare is a blessing for me since I'm no several meds.

Medicare is 65..it is social security that pays out by birth year if you want full benefits.

I think you get a bit more money if you wait. That’s what my dh did. I signed up at 65 because I’m a clutz and break myself. Good thing! I can’t imagine the ER hospital bill for my appendectomy.
I had Covered California the past few years. It was terrible lol.
