Anybody that gets SocSec before turning 65 gets signed up for Medicare automatically; it happens a few months before they turn 65 and they send the medicare cards.

I did the SocSec sign up online, but went to someone to get signed up for drugs plan D and gap (pays the 20% medicare doesn’t) plan G.
