When you are awake, you stand on the outside of the stable (‘group-think’ collective), and have ‘free thought’.
"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.
When you are awake, you are able to clearly see.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.
Trust and put faith in yourself.
You are not alone and you are not in the minority.

These 2 statements are so true! My husband can’t see what is happening. He realizes he’s been lied to about the vaccines, covid, the election, etc but when it comes to Ukraine/Russia there is no way to see good coming from Russia. He gets that Pelosi, Soros, Graham, Clinton are on the Ukraine side but all of a sudden thinks they may get it right once! I’m not saying anything anymore. I prefer to stay married!

Just imagine how much more respect your husband is going to have for your wisdom and clarity when you’re proven right. I’m in a similar position with a strong conservative American bridge partner who was born in Ukraine and still has family there. When I proposed that Zelensky and Putin may neither be as good or bad as they’re being portrayed in the media, he was aghast that I would say such a thing. He was so disappointed in my point of view that I can’t be sure he isn’t going to cancel our next game.
I think any divide will be healed once one side is shown to be correct and the other side acknowledges (even begrudgingly) their insight. You’re in good company here, Muslady.
