Of course they don’t get their kickbacks directly. Congress writes the laws so that they can use family members, “non-profits” etc. to get their millions. It is infuriating.
Zelensky has already called for a new Marshall plan to rebuild Ukraine. Ukraine is the poorest nation in Europe. If the rest of the world, especially Uncle Sam, spends billions rebuilding Ukraine they’ll have a nice new infrastructure in their country.
Zelensky needs to ask the Clinton Foundation for help to rebuild. If the poorest nation in Europe can be the largest contributor to the Clinton Foundation, surely they can expect a very generous offering in this time of need.

When Ukraine became independent from USSR, they were one of the most industrialized nations in Europe. They have a lot of natural resources including oil and productive farmland. By the time the US and EU got done with them they had nothing.
