Oh geez Louise. Meeting with congresscritters? I’m sure they won’t be placated and lied to like never before! What a waste of time. I was worried about what they have planned. If they’re not going to do anything that throws Washington into a bit of peaceful chaos, they’re not going to make a bit of difference.

At least cheese hardens and isn’t smelly. Unlike maybe vegetables or meat. You probably would have noticed one of those before now.
I have to say, after seeing what happened to the Canadian truckers at the hands of the supposed police, I am jaded now. When I I saw the police show up at the Convoy I got worried. I wasn’t sure why they were there, if it was to support or suppress. Luckily they did end up just doing Road traffic, they blocked the road so all the truckers could turn left Fairgrounds. I was kind of surprised how quickly I mistrusted.
I compared parm 10 months, kirkland’s 24 Mon, and the 24 month belioiso. That doesn’t look right. Why can’t my tablet change things to the correct version sometime? And yes, I agree at least “that word” wasn’t used. LOL
I said the BelGioioso (looked it up) 24 was a good investment. Not as good as the Kirkland with the stamped and thick rind. And double the cost. But close, very close. It was a huge improvement over the 10-month and was about the same price per pound. I have no idea how they’re selling it so cheaply. Another good point is that its rind was very thin so it could be grated. I hate cutting the big thick on the other 24 Mon Parms. But it’s definitely not edible. It’ll be great for cooking with. And I’ll keep the other 24 month cheeses for grating on top.
Now, I need a new, all-stainless rotary grater. My plastic Zyliss cracked a few months ago. Any recommendations anyone?

Agree....the thick rinds are nice to have, for soups...etc.
Sorry, I am no help, on the grater...as I still have my vintage Pampered Chef grater. I think some of the original PC tools were maybe Zyliss....they sure seem like it. Like the (vintage)chopper I recently dropped/broke :-(
I think part of his appeal is his being offered transportation out and instead choosing to stay and fight. I don’t know how many know he is safely in a bunker. He’s been compared to the tank man in Tiananmen Square over 30 years ago. That may not be accurate but I don’t think it’s as simple as Russia bad, therefore Ukraine good.
In Ottawa, the police were wonderful. They walked around and enjoyed the festivities, chatted with the truckers and their families, even helped put up some of the tent structures. Then the goons were unleashed. IMHO, these were NOT the same police department. They had no names, no badges, no numbers.....and they were like thugs who didn’t care who they trampled on and hurt. This was not the same police department that the convoy hung out with for so long.

I think what happened up here has really had an effect on any future protesters.
Heck, there was a time when patriots would think nothing of going right into Washington and sitting there until they got some kind of action/resolution. It’s their city. They paid for it. They pay for all of those people. Why wouldn’t they go in and peacefully lock up the city?
Jan. 6 and the Canadian crackdown has taken its toll. This is how it works. Fear.
Yeah that’s why I said supposed police. I’m really glad that the real police were seemingly for the truckers. That would make sense!

You cannot take anything said in comments as exactly what is going to happen. I heard the LEAD guy say last night, they are NOT GOING to meet Congresscritters, Congresscritters have to COME TO THEM. If they don’t I have heard the Convoy will take three laps around the beltway then the next day 4 laps etc, until they are recognized.
We won’t know for sure until it is announced either tonight or in the morning.
