Its about tone and messaging. Lets parse the tweet:

No, debanking Russia is not “just as wrong as invading Ukraine”. I think reasonable people can discuss our response and if we should be de-escalating and seeing if we can provde Putin a face saving way out, but equating debanking to invading a country with thousands of ground troops and artillery is just ludicrous.

This is the stuff the MSM latches onto and smears all conservatives with. And yes, i know no one here cares about the MSM, but independents do, and they pay attention to it, and they vote.

If this is your main point of argument, then I don't really have any issue with it. Yes, she mispoke to say they were equally wrong, but people mispeak in such a manner often.

Precision in speaking often comes at the sacrifice of brevity. For making an essential point, brevity is more important than getting your statement exactly right.

Exactly. FR skews old to very old posters. They grew up in a time of Russia/Soviet Union all bad. Therefore, they are easy prey to the Democrat controlled media response to this whole thing. I have been amazed at how many on here are parroting all the talking points of the MSM and the Democrats.

I actually don't keep up with the people who bash the south. I have also found out that most people believe strange things if you explore their beliefs deeply enough.

Someone may seem perfectly rational, but if you keep talking to them long enough, you eventually get to some area where they are nuts.
