The zillow estimate on our house has doubled in the last 6 years. We wouldn’t be able to afford it now. Dad and I loved it here before the masks. Everything is only 5 to 10 minutes away. Nice that the masks mandates are going away now(For good, we dearly hope!) The “Biggest Little City in the World” is growing, though...
They are building 3 to 5 story really dense apartment complexes all over town.
Some are quite extensive complexes..
I thought we had left the traffic jams in California, but I can see them coming here soon.

Sounds like 2008 all over again.
As long as inflation keeps going up and the Fed (t.m. -DeepState) keeps ratcheting the rates, you will not be able to sell at that price as existing home sales will falter causing a buyer’s market.
Just be careful that some taxing board doesn’t start thinking about taxing “unrealized future income”.
